How payouts work
When a guest checks in, Ethiopia Bookings releases your payout within 48 hours. Your payout is the total booking value minus Ethiopia Bookings's commission:
- Domestic bookings (Ethiopian Telebirr or CBE Birr): 10% commission + 5% guest service fee
- International bookings (Stripe card): 12% commission + 5% guest service fee
- The 5% service fee is charged to the guest — it does not come from your payout
Payouts are sent to your Telebirr account or registered bank account. Bank transfers are made via CBE. Processing time: Telebirr — same day. Bank transfer — 1–3 business days.
Example: a booking of ETB 4,000/night for 3 nights
