How to get listed
Option 1 — Self-register
Create an account, select I want to list my property, and complete the seven-step property wizard. Takes approximately 30–45 minutes for a complete listing. Requires digital photos (minimum 5) and basic property information.

Ethiopia Bookings earns a commission of 10–12% on completed bookings from domestic Ethiopian travellers and 12–15% on international bookings.
There is no monthly fee for a basic listing. Paid premium features (featured placement, enhanced listing, priority support) are available as optional upgrades.

Payout schedule
Funds for each booking are released to your account 24 hours after the guest checks in. Payouts are consolidated and transferred weekly every Monday in Ethiopian Birr to your CBE, Awash, Dashen or Bank of Abyssinia account, or to your Telebirr wallet. International host accounts can elect monthly payouts in USD via Wise. The first payout takes up to 14 days to settle while bank details are verified; subsequent payouts arrive on the standard cycle.
Documents you will need to list
- Trade licence (Business Licence Certificate from the Ministry of Trade)
- Tax registration (TIN certificate)
- Owner or manager government-issued photo ID (Kebele ID, passport or driving licence)
- Property tax receipt (latest year)
- Bank account confirmation letter or first page of a Telebirr statement (for payouts)
- Minimum 5 photos per room type, plus exterior, lobby and any communal areas
- Star rating certificate from the Ministry of Tourism (only if you wish to display a star rating)
You can start your listing without all documents — the listing goes live as Unverified while we collect them, and is upgraded to the green Verified badge once the checks complete.
