Where to stay for a Simien trek
The classic itinerary spends nights at Sankaber, Geech and Chennek camps inside the park — basic but unforgettable, with sunrise over the escarpment. For more comfort, the small number of mountain lodges on the park edge offer hot showers and proper beds. Gondar (about 3 hours away) is the staging city for arrival flights.
